SEPTEMBER LESSON PLANS
September is here! This is such a fun month to teach kindergarten.
I have uploaded my FREE September daily lesson plans to help take some of the stress of planning off of your plate.
I hope they are a blessing to you and your students.Lesson planning is one of my very favorite things to do… I just love coming up with really fun lessons that teach the standards.
But then again, lesson planning is one of my least favorite things to do because planning quality lessons is just so time consuming.
I am hoping that by sharing my plans with you, some stress is relieved off of your shoulders.
I link to all the standards, curricula and FREEBIES we use. Most units also have blog posts so you can see pictures in actions as well as additional resources - such as videos and read alouds - that we use.

SEPTEMBER BOOM CARDS
Our new monthly Boom Cards are perfect for the classroom, small groups, distance learning and homeschool!
I created monthly Boom cards to target the exact skills kindergarten kiddos are working on in September.
These are an incredible tool to use in the classroom or at home.
Boom Cards are digital task cards that are self checking, provide scaffolding for students including audio (with most decks) and are so engaging for children.
This video shows all the different decks and skills we practice in September.

“Another awesome resource! My students like 'playing on the computer," and I like that they are engaged in learning! I've never been disappointed in any of her resources!”
“I love these boom cards because they have audio. When trying to do guided reading groups, having audio keeps the students independent.”
SEPTEMBER DAILY REVIEW PROGRAM
This is a brand new program to make reviewing the standards each day quick and easy.
It can be used for homeschooling, distance learning or even as daily classroom warm ups.
Every day we practice specific standards that we focus on in September in kindergarten, including letter names and sounds, handwriting, phonics, numbers, counting, 1:1 correspondence and more!

HOW I ORGANIZE MY MATERIALS FOR THE MONTH
I am so visual, and I love to be organized so I can focus all of my time on teaching when my kiddos are with me. I try to have all of my copies made, organized and prepped so I can just pull and teach every day.
I keep everything organized in one of these sterilite bins, and I have one for every month.
This makes my life so much easier, and I can see everything I will be using on a monthly, weekly and daily basis.
